Café Station — Perfect Water for Perfect Coffee

Why water is the most important variable in specialty coffee, and how Café Station gives baristas a stable, scale-free, mineralised baseline.

Café Station is Bluewater's dedicated coffee-water system. It pairs SuperiorOsmosis™ purification with Liquid Rock™ mineralisation under a Control Box that holds the recipe steady — café to café, day to day, year to year.

Why this matters for coffee

Coffee is ~98% water. Tap water varies enormously in hardness, chlorine, TDS and trace contaminants — and that variability shows up in extraction, mouthfeel and machine longevity. Café Station strips the inconsistency out of the brewing equation.

The three stages

  • SuperiorOsmosis™ removes up to 99.7% of contaminants — heavy metals, PFAS, microplastics, chlorine, hardness.
  • Liquid Rock™ adds calcium and magnesium back at a 2:1 ratio with no sodium — a mineral profile chosen for coffee extraction.
  • Adjustable mineralisation (Light / Medium / Bold) lets baristas tune the profile to roast, origin and brewing method.
